We were vacationing in the Cape May area and my husband CPAP broke. I got my doctor on a Saturday to fax a prescription for a CPAP to this business so that my husband wouldn't have to go without. He can't sleep without his CPAP period it is dangerous. I spent an entire morning of my vacation back and forth between the man at a AABA Family Medical Supply. At first he kept finding fault with the prescription from our doctor who treats us everyday. I kept having to page my doctor and have him send the man another prescription. Finally after 6 calls back and forth the man tells me he will not fill the prescription because he does not feel good about it. Because letting someone with sleep apnea sleep without a machine and refusing help is better then letting them sleep with their medically prescribed CPAP machine???????????? Luckily I was able to take my husband home because we only live two hours away but we had to cut our vacation short. We lost out on hundreds of dollars for the hotel. I don't believe that it's this company's job to question the prescription given by our doctor. Where in your medical training does it say you can prescribe things? I feel bad for the people in this area because it seems like this is the only place you can get certain things. If I were you I would go online it's much cheaper and they fill prescriptions given by doctors.
They're the best. They've helped me find the right equipment and clothing for my disabled grandfather, and they had compression socks that I could use for long distance running; all at a great price. The service was exceptional. The staff is knowledgeable. There's nowhere else I'd go.
Rich and the staff are very sweet they go over and beyond to help. I recommend them to anyone they are very efficient and I've never had a problem dealing with them.
AABA Family Medical is a great business that i will definately be recommending to everyone. They had parts and filters for my CPAP machine in stock. And also sanitized my machine the same day. Jamie their respiratory therapist was great each time I visited. She was very friendly and knowledgeable, she helped me with fitting several masks until i got the one for me. All of the staff at AABA were friendly and helpful and I look forward to dealing with them for my future needs.
