Amazing Free Zoo .. Donations Accepted
Small park for kids with nice modern playground equipment, and basketball courts with restrooms. Sheltered picnic table area, but close to busy road and so noisy. A desultory short walk around 3 vernal pools, the last with frogs. No longer walks into the trees or to the Fishing Creek swampland that we could find; and no map at the park. The shore is across the busy street, not here. SO - not the place to go for walks or shore birds, and not associated with the Zoo and other features of the whole park, as some reviews don't make clear.
Great place to take the kids. Nice playground and basketball courts. Also has a full size soccer field and baseball field.
The kiddies always have fun. Park is clean.
