Fish and Fancy has the best seafood in town. It is always fresh and delicious. I suggest getting there early as it is a popular destination and always busy, even so the staff is always quick and courteous. Definitely a must try
Very good, well established seafood takeout place that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Fish is well prepared and available broiled or fried. Their soups are excellent. New England clam chowder is delicious. So is the cocanut shrimp. They have specials each week or so. They also have Grouper platter, a fish that is difficult to find on menus outside of Florida. The platters are very reasonably priced and they offer many vegetable side dish choices. It is mainly a takeout place. No indoor seating but during summer they have outdoor coverered patio with picnic tables. There are overhead fans for keeping bothersome flies away. They provide Veterans with identification a discount.
I am a local. I go here every week in the winter, and embarrassingly often in the summer. Be sure to call ahead so you don't have to wait while your food is being prepared freshly for you. Everything is cooked to order. Nothing tastes fishy, it's so fresh. Coconut breading is awesome, and the dipping sauce tastes like you're on a Caribbean vacation. Check out the blackboard specials on their website. They change every week. The service is fast, professional and friendly. There aren't enough words to explain how awesome this place is. I would give 10 stars if I could. Easy to find - great location.
This place is take out only. I did see it listed somewhere as "restaurant & takeout" but it is only takeout. There is a roofed area with picnic tables where you can eat. Bring your own drinks unless you want to purchase soda or water bottles. Seafood was good, as far as fish and shrimp, but the deviled clam and crab were not bad, just unremarkable. I would not recommend the soups. Soups are sold in lidded containers that they will microwave for you if you are eating it there. We tried 2 of the soups and both seemed like mixes. Cole slaw, Apple sauce etc. come in little 2 oz. plastic cups. Staff very friendly and efficient.
